Little fox framed mini print - Based on an original free-motion sewn design by Bek Tainton

This print captures the texture of the fabric and the stitch detail of the original artwork in a vibrant and fun design.

This little fella started life as a drawing my son did for his sister a number of years back when he was just 8. I taught him to free motion sew so that he could make it into a little picture for her for Christmas . I then cleaned up the design and made it into a cushion front, it then became a sewn picture and is now a card and a print! The original cushion design had the words 'Dream big little one' and is now available as a postcard with the same wording! People are always drawn to this card and mini print when I do fairs and it makes them smile when they pick it up! This design is also available as a greeting card, a postcard and as a print (see separate listing).

Free motion sewing is literally like using a sewing machine to draw with, where the fabric is the paper and the thread is the ink. The only difference is that the fabric (paper) is moved under the thread (ink) rather than the other way around! I use a 50 year old Pfaff sewing machine, that belonged to my grandmother. There's no fancy tricks or modern technology, but I wouldn't change my machine for the world!
