'With my whole heart' - Based on an original free-motion sewn design by Bek Tainton
The print on this postcard captures the texture of the fabric and the stitch detail of the original artwork in a vibrant and fun design.
Free motion sewing is literally like using a sewing machine to draw with, where the fabric is the paper and the thread is the ink. The only difference is that the fabric (paper) is moved under the thread (ink) rather than the other way around! I use a 50 year old Pfaff sewing machine, that belonged to my grandmother. There's no fancy tricks or modern technology, but I wouldn't change my machine for the world!
This loved up pair were the second of my animal 'couple' designs (after the flamingos!). Inspired by my love of nature and animals! Suitable for any occasion, but particularly good for anniversaries, Valentine's Day or just to say 'I love you'! The words come from the quote, "With my whole heart, for my whole life". I thought it would be cute for the person giving the card to add the second line on the back of the postcard to make it more personal. Just an idea! My giraffe design is also available as a greeting card and print (see separate listing)
Art postcards are great for decorating any space, a noticeboard or sending to someone special. I also offer a gift wrapping service with any of my prints (see separate listings) where I can write a message on a postcard of your choice to go with your wrapped print and send it to the special someone you have chosen to gift it to.

* All cards are posted in a hard backed recycled envelope to protect them in the post.
