This print captures the texture of the fabric and the stitch detail of the original artwork in a vibrant and fun design.
This cheeky little monkey was originally designed and sewn for my husband's birthday a couple of years back. For some reason he picked up the nickname of monkey from his sisters nephews years back and it stuck, so our children always get him a monkey card each year! This card quickly became one of my best selling designs-maybe there are lots of other cheeky monkeys out there?! So it is now available as a mini print as well. Genuinely suitable for any age monkey in your life!!! This design is also available as a greeting card (see separate listing).
Free motion sewing is literally like using a sewing machine to draw with, where the fabric is the paper and the thread is the ink. The only difference is that the fabric (paper) is moved under the thread (ink) rather than the other way around! I use a 50 year old Pfaff sewing machine, that belonged to my grandmother. There's no fancy tricks or modern technology, but I wouldn't change my machine for the world!
