Hanging Bell Jar Penguin Christmas Decorations - Based on an original free-motion sewn design by Bek Tainton
These cute penguins bell jar decorations will looks beautiful on your tree or on a shelf. The penguins are prints of my original sewn designs, printed on high quality hahnemuhle 310gsm thick archival etching paper. They are then placed on log slices and then enclosed in a glass bell jar and finished with a pretty red stripy red ribbon.
How to buy:
1) Add this item to your basket (choosing either one, two or all three penguins).
2) In the drop down box 'Add your personalisation', I will need the following information: if choosing one or two penguins, please state which penguin(s) you would like. Baby penguin, sleepy penguin (the one with one bobble on the top of his hat) or awake penguin (the one with 3 bobbles on hat)
3) I will make your penguins to order, so please allow time for me to create them-I will keep you informed so that you know when it is ready and will aim for a one week turn around. All orders will be ready in time for Christmas.
These decorations are print of my original sewn artwork using free motion sewing. The image on this print captures the texture of the fabric and the stitch detail of the original artwork in a vibrant and fun design. Free motion sewing is literally like using a sewing machine to draw with, where the fabric is the paper and the thread is the ink. The only difference is that the fabric (paper) is moved under the thread (ink) rather than the other way around! I use a 50 year old Pfaff sewing machine, that belonged to my grandmother. There's no fancy tricks or modern technology, but I wouldn't change my machine for the world!

* All prints are posted in postage boxes to protect them in the post.
* Postage is via Royal Mail 2nd class in the UK
* Eco-Friendly - My packaging, from envelopes and backing boards to tissue paper and packing tape, is environmentall-friendly, using recycled, re-cyclable and /or biodegradable products. I have searched long and hard for alternatives to products that damage our planet and is something of a mission of mine!
